When I was first practicing my craft, I found myself drawing ears, hands, and eyes over and over again to get things right. As I have processed in my art I find myself drawing full illustrations in my journals, sketchbooks, and notebooks. These drawings have complete ideas and backgrounds to help myself create a believable, lived in environment. kI find that now I have a deeper understanding of illustration, prospective, and environment when I practice with full scenes rather than specific features. Foundations are key and that gave me the confidence to create full illustrations in my sketchbook.
The photographer Bekky Berg found my sketchbook so inspiring that she took photos of my work.
